Learning

As a diehard Sooner fan, this is one of my favorites.

When Davin’s friends had their first child, we were fortunate that they included us in her life.  We wanted to give her gifts, that would be a learning tool and fun.  I do like some of the Montessori beliefs – Davin was in Montessori school for two years.  There are numerous educational subscription companies out there.  We decided on Lovevery.  The subscription started when she was one.  They come every 4 months (So they are her Birthday, Christmas, and whatever presents).  They have them thru 4 years old.  She loves them, and so do mom and dad.  I would definitely recommend them.

I strongly believe that books are the most important things for a child to have.  My parents read to Stan and I, as a result we both loved to read.  I read to Davin every night.  I also believe that is why he loved to read.  There are so many good learning and fun books out there for children.  There are also some new really good Bible and Christian books for little ones. I will have recommendations in my next post, as well.
