Unhealthy foods for kids
There are so many unhealthy foods out there, which are pushed on our children. I don’t have the time or the space to discuss them all; however, just remember sugar, processed food additives and artificial dyes are not things that need to be included in your child’s diet. This is an area where the Yuka app really comes in handy. I spoke about it under the Healthy Living Segment. It makes my mind spin when I think about all the ingredients that Europe has banned and we still include in our food, especially in bread, baked goods, and candy. In addition, EU regulations prohibit different drugs and hormones given to farm animals to promote growth or increase milk productions that are permitted in the U.S.
As a result, I have listed a few items that should be marked off your grocery list, not ordered on the menu and grandparents need to be told to not give them to your children either. So many of these things have been tied to ADHD, which has had an increase of over 40% in the last decade.
