My Garden

I am not a master gardener by any stretch of the imagination, but I do enjoy gardening.  I love seeing the beautiful memorial garden for Davin, with the Moonlight garden to the North and Travis’s mural gives such a wonderful backdrop.  The red, white and black tulips just ended and now so many things are starting to bloom, like the white roses and clematis.  Still learning what grows well here in OKC with little work from me!   

I just received my organic tomato plants that I ordered, 3 Heirloom Cherokee Purples, 1 Celebrity, 1 sweet cherry, and 1 Smarty.  I also received two green bean plants.  I will be getting pepper plants for Pete’s salsa, basil, cilantro, cucumbers, watermelon and strawberries.  We have blueberry bushes we planted a couple of years ago.  Anxious to see how many blueberries we get this year.  My mom encouraged me to wait to plant by tomato plants until May 15th.  We have them on our 3rd floor patio right now.
